Westward Expansion, 2013. An illuminated triptych of hinged acrylic panels, etched with imagery based on events in California since the coming of Europeans. Lit with various colors of neon tubing, the clear acrylic panels are layered to create an overlap of color. To see the map, etched in aluminum on the exterior doors, go to maps.
